Does Seamtrail certify conformity?
No. Seamtrail warns and documents, with rule and source. The decision always stays with the responsible welding coordinator.
Do we need internet in the workshop?
The NDT protocol wizard works offline: drafts and photos stay on the tablet and are synchronised and released once online. The rest of the app runs online.
Where is our data stored?
On your own server with Docker Compose – or operated by us with hosting in the EU. Every company’s data is separated in the database.
Does Seamtrail cover ISO 3834 and EN 1090?
Seamtrail records application standard, execution class and quality level per order, derives the order checklist, keeps the workshop review, certificates and the appointed welding coordinator, and warns when an order asks for more than they cover. It does not handle factory production control or CE marking.
Do we have to enter all certificates by hand?
No. Upload PDFs or photos; an optional AI scan suggests the fields. Data counts only after a person has confirmed it, the original stays with its hash.
